Bowls Tournament Santa Susanna Cup (Autumn)

PROGRAMME

FRIDAY 27 - ARRIVAL
Arrival of all players and accompanying persons at the meeting point.
Handing over of the tournament documentation.
Accommodation in the corresponding hotels, with dinner.

SATURDAY 28 - FRIENDLY TOURNAMENT
Morning: Friendly tournament.
Night: Presentation of the tournament at the HOTEL DON ANGEL.

SUNDAY 29 - START TOURNAMENT
Start and development of the SANTA SUSANNA CUP tournament.

MONDAY 30 - DEVELOPMENT TOURNAMENT
Development of the SANTA SUSANNA CUP tournament.

TUESDAY 31 - FINALS TOURNAMENT
Tournament finals.
Delivery of trophies.

WEDNESDAY 1 - DEPARTURE
Departure of participating clubs with breakfast.
Hotel rooms must be vacated by 10.00 a.m.).

PRESENTATION
The official inauguration of the tournament will take place at the Don Angel Hotel for all players and accompanying persons, accompanied by dance music and at the end of the event they will be able to enjoy a FLAMENCO show.

CLOSURE
The tournament will be closed at the Don Angel Hotel with the delivery of trophies and medals to all the players.

COMPETITION

RULES OF THE GAME
In the Santa Susanna Cup tournament the current rules of bowls will be applied.

GAME SYSTEM
Teams shall preferably be divided into groups and each team shall consist of two players.
Teams may include a reserve player.

CATEGORY ( SENIOR MIXED)
Duplets: They can be male, female or mixed. (the licence does not have to be shown).

PRIZES

1 ST PLACE IN THE GENERAL TOURNAMENT
400 € guaranteed + 2 free places for the next edition.
Prizes for the f irst 4 teams in the general tournament and the consolation tournament.
The total amount of the entries will go towards prizes.

ACCOMMODATION

HOTEL DON ANGEL 3 STARS
The Hotel Don Angel is located in the centre of the seafront promenade of the town of Santa Susanna, 150 metres from the beach and just a few kilometres from the Costa Brava.
The promenade is the nerve centre of the commercial and cultural l ife of Santa Susanna, where you will f ind the most important restaurants, bars and shops of the town, as well as the daily night market and the weekly market.
FULLY EQUIPPED ROOMS
All rooms are equipped with :

Perfect sports facilities, located in the annex of the DON ANGEL hotel and close to the hotels where the teams will be staying. All players will be able to walk there.

Santa Susanna is much more than beaches, as it also has f ields and mountains. I t has a rich natural heritage and, due to its privileged location and climate, we have a great diversity of f lora and fauna.

BY PLANE
From Girona and Barcelona airports with the Barcelona Bus company.

BY CAR
I f you are travelling from the north, take the AP- 7 and continue to exit 9 Lloret, Blanes and Malgrat, C- 35 . In Vidreres, take the N- I I and continue to Santa Susanna.

BY TRAIN
From Barcelona: Rodalies Renfe ( regional train service, l ine R 1 direction Blanes or Maçanet - Massanes to Santa Susanna.
From Girona: Rodalies Renfe Girona ( RG 1 ) direction Mataró direct to Santa Susanna.
